Master Chronic Stress with the Ultimate Triple Combo Technique

What is chronic stress?
Do you often feel drained, on edge, or foggy-brained without knowing why? You might be living in a state of chronic stress without realising it. Modern life can keep your nervous system stuck in overdrive, leaving you with symptoms such as:
Unwanted belly fat that’s hard to lose
Brain fog and fatigue
Digestion issues or persistent lower back pain
Heightened emotional sensitivity, nervousness, or even bursts of irritability
But don’t worry—there’s a highly effective solution that doesn’t require hours of meditation or complex routines. I call it the "Triple Combo Technique". This synergy of breathwork, aromatherapy, and visualisation meditation is simple, fast, and powerful.
Why Chronic Stress Can Wreak Havoc on Your Life
Over time, chronic stress can shrink the prefrontal cortex—the brain’s command centre for creativity, focus, and problem-solving—while increasing cortisol (the stress hormone) levels. This makes it harder to stay calm, focused, and innovative.
However, when you learn to manage chronic stress effectively, you unlock hidden reserves of energy, creativity, and mental clarity. That’s where the " Triple Combo Technique" comes in.
What is the "Triple Combo Technique"?
The technique brings together three time-tested methods:
Breathwork – Helps to reset your nervous system and induce relaxation.
Aromatherapy – Engages the limbic system (your emotional brain) to naturally soothe anxiety and tension. It acts as a key to unlocking the subconscious mind for new program implementation and fixation.
Visualisation Meditation – Puts you in a relaxed, uplifting state where your mind can recharge and your stress melts away.
The true power of this approach lies in its synergistic effect—these techniques work together to magnify each other’s impact.
What Makes the Combo Technique Special?
Here’s why this method stands out from other stress-relief techniques:
Time-efficient – It takes only 4 to 7 minutes, compared to traditional meditation, which may require 20 to 30 minutes.
Highly effective – Many practitioners report it feels up to ten times more effective than doing any of these techniques separately.
Long-lasting benefits – The process programs your subconscious mind to associate a specific aromatic scent with deep relaxation. This allows you to easily recall the stress-relief state with just a whiff of that scent, even in high-pressure situations.
How to Use the Combo Technique?
Step 1: Prepare with Aromatherapy
Begin by selecting an essential oil that promotes relaxation. Wild Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia) is an excellent choice, but you can also use other grounding oils such as Frankincense, Copaiba, or blends designed for balance and relaxation.
You can use one of these options:
Diffuser Method: Add 5-8 drops of your chosen oil to a diffuser. For added balance, include 2-3 drops of cinnamon bark or cassia oil.
OR:
Tap a drop of oil with your finger (use only gentle oils like Lavender, Copaiba, Frankincense, or specially made blends ready to apply to the skin) on the face area near both sides of your nose and make a short line between the eyebrows with another drop. Make two lines with what is left on the finger on the front of your neck.
This procedure takes only 1 minute of your time.
Step 2: Breathwork – “Horizontal Breathing” Pump
Sit comfortably with your back straight, using lower back support if needed. Begin a breathing cycle known as horizontal breathing, which targets the middle section of your lungs, expanding the ribs. Here’s how to do it:
Inhale through your nose while pulling your belly in and a little bit up. Let your middle torso expand outward, expanding the ribs without moving your chest part.
Exhale by pushing your belly outward and drawing your middle torso back inward.
Continue this deep, fast-pumping breath cycle for 20-30 breaths.
This breathing technique may feel unfamiliar at first, but with practice, it will become second nature. If you experience a light sense of euphoria by the end of the cycle, that’s a sign you’re doing it correctly.
This will take another 1 minute of your time.
Step 3: Visualisation Meditation
Now that your body is fully relaxed, it’s time to guide your mind to a place of peace and inspiration. Spend 2 to 4 minutes visualising an uplifting, sensory-rich environment.
Here are some ideas for your mental retreat:
First, in every place you visualise, use all possible senses: Sight, sound, smell, emotional engagement and even sense of touch.
A peaceful forest where you can hear birds singing, the smell of pine or spruce, and a peaceful, relaxing old forest view. A wind or morning mist touches your face.
A riverbank or ocean shore, where you can see and hear waves gently lapping or water flowing in the river and smell the salty breeze or old river’s specific smell.
A serene park filled with the scent of flowers and left trees, tree leaves rustling in the wind and fresh air. And see gigantic old trees as a symbol of wisdom and stability.
Immerse yourself fully in the scene. Hear the sounds, feel the sensations, smell and breathe in the atmosphere of calm and tranquillity.
You don’t need to consciously focus on the essential oil you applied earlier. It is already working behind the scenes, encoding this relaxation experience into your subconscious mind.
After you create and polish your vision, it could take a few weeks; stick with it and don't make changes. Keep it always the same.
Why Does This Technique Work So Well?
This method works because it taps into multiple senses—breath, scent, sound, and imagery—all of which influence the nervous system at a deep level. The more senses you engage, the stronger the subconscious programming becomes. Over time, simply smelling your chosen essential oil will trigger a calming response back from the subconscious, helping you return to this state of balance effortlessly.
Give It a Try!
Transforming your relationship with stress doesn’t have to be complicated. Try the "Triple Combo Technique" for a few days. Whether you’re preparing for a demanding workday or winding down for restful sleep, this method will help you stay grounded and resilient.
